Nancy Michelle Bodden, 32, was charged with two counts of child neglect and one count of possession of a controlled substance after she was reported to be unresponsive at the Courtyard Marriott on Battleview Parkway on Thursday, March 2.
Officers responded to the hotel after concerns were voiced about an unresponsive person in a room, investigators said. Police arrived at the room and found Bodden inside asleep, accompanied by a 7-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl.
While investigating the incident, police found illegal narcotics unsecured inside the room, next to the children, they noted.
Bodden was taken into custody and the children were released to a family member.
